Benjamin Makyeli has challenged men to redefine true manhood by rejecting worldly desires, confronting personal struggles, and embracing humility before God.
Speaking during the men’s edition of Woman Blossom Show on Gugudde TV, where the discussion focused on “What Does It Truly Mean to Be a Man?”, Makyeli reflected on the biblical warning against the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life, as outlined in 1 John 2:16.
He cautioned that when these desires begin to define a person’s identity, they can lead them away from the right path. He also highlighted the importance of fatherhood in shaping men’s confidence, identity, and character, noting that growing up without a father’s guidance and affirmation can leave some men struggling with their sense of self.

Makyeli further encouraged men to embrace vulnerability in their relationship with God, emphasizing that acknowledging weakness is not a sign of failure but an opportunity to experience divine strength.
Drawing from his personal prayer life, he shared how he once told God, “If You don’t come through for me, I am finished,” explaining that he believes in expressing his struggles honestly before God because He understands the burdens people carry.

He urged men experiencing exhaustion, emotional pressure, or burnout not to suffer in silence but to seek God in prayer and surrender their burdens to Him.
“If you want to experience the fullness of God, you have to learn to humble yourself before Him,” Makyeli emphasized, encouraging men to find strength and restoration in God during difficult seasons.
His message underscored the importance of spiritual maturity, healthy identity, responsible fatherhood, and emotional honesty as essential elements of true manhood.
