The Bamutakudde community initiative continues to gain momentum, bringing residents together every Saturday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM for community cleaning, dialogue, and collective action.

The weekly programme has attracted growing participation as residents come together to clean their surroundings, share ideas, discuss community challenges, and work toward practical solutions.
Beyond keeping the neighbourhood clean, the initiative is strengthening relationships among residents, creating a greater sense of unity and encouraging communities to take responsibility for their shared environment.

Speaking about the growing participation, Solomon Serwanjja, Chairman of Bamutakudde, said the initiative is built on the belief that collective action can create meaningful change.
“When we work together, we win together,” said Serwanjja.

The initiative continues to demonstrate how community participation, dialogue, and teamwork can help build cleaner, more connected, and resilient neighbourhoods
